MESSAGE SUMMARY:
Rev. Stacy Macris Ros wrapped up her “Metaphysical Movie Fun” series exploring the spiritual lessons we can learn from the Disney animated film, “Frozen.

She outlined three spiritual lessons we can draw the movie:

1. Embrace your unique power and strengths — and use them for good. Each of us has unique gifts, talents and qualities through which God expresses in the world. Like Elsa, we may fear our own power, doubt ourselves, or allow others’ expectations to keep us small. But when we release those self-imposed limitations and embrace who we truly are, we can consciously use our gifts to create greater beauty, joy and good.

2. Do your inner healing work. Unhealed wounds don’t simply disappear. When we bury pain, shame, anger or resentment, those emotions eventually affect us and those around us. Healing requires taking responsibility for our inner work: acknowledging our wounds, feeling and processing them, and offering ourselves grace, compassion and acceptance. As we heal ourselves, we bring greater peace and freedom to our lives and relationships.

3. Love is a verb. True love isn’t simply something we feel or say; it is something we do. Even small acts of kindness, compassion and courage can “unfreeze” hearts. When we keep our hearts open and actively become the love we want to experience, love becomes a healing and transformative power.

Ultimately, the movie invites us to release fear, embrace our gifts, heal what needs healing, and put love into action.
