MESSAGE SUMMARY:
During this week’s Wednesday evening’s service, Rev. Stacy Macris Ros reminded us that true prosperity is far broader than financial wealth. Abundance includes our relationships, health, joy, purpose, spiritual connection and overall well-being. When we expand our definition of prosperity, we begin to recognize how richly blessed we already are.

Our thoughts, beliefs, words and expectations shape our experience of life—and of abundance. Whatever we consistently focus on—whether abundance or lack—is what we attract into our lives. When we dwell on scarcity, fear or “not having enough,” we invite more experiences that reinforce those beliefs. But when we focus on God’s abundant good with faith and gratitude, we become magnets for greater opportunities, joy and well-being. Through affirmative thinking, visualization and faith-filled expectation, we align ourselves with the life we desire rather than the limitations we fear.

Prosperity, however, is never passive. Faith must be accompanied by action. We are called to “pack the bags before we have the ticket”—taking practical, faith-filled steps toward our goals long before we can see tangible evidence that they are becoming reality.

Giving generously—whether through our time, resources or love—keeps the flow of abundance moving. As we freely share what we have, we affirm our trust that there is always enough. Generosity shifts our attention from scarcity to abundance, opening the door for even greater good to flow into our lives.

Just as importantly, we must be willing to receive, recognizing that accepting another’s kindness blesses both the giver and the receiver. By graciously receiving, we affirm our own worthiness while allowing others the joy of expressing generosity. Abundance flourishes when giving and receiving remain in balance.

Finally, gratitude is one of the greatest gateways to abundance. As we celebrate the blessings already present in our lives, we cultivate a consciousness that naturally attracts greater peace, joy, love and prosperity. Each day, we’re invited to notice the abundance already present, celebrate it, and confidently live in the divine flow of God’s limitless good.
