Stacy invites you to join her for an outreach day making a difference in our community at the Tiger Mountain Foundation’s “Spaces of Opportunity” Garden! \nJoin Rev. Stacy to cultivate a better community for all by planting fruits and vegetables with other community-minded souls! We’ll get our hands dirty by planting\, weeding and harvesting produce\, and also learn about gardening techniques\, sustainable living and organic farming. \nThe TigerMountain Foundation uses community gardens as a tool to improve lives and build stronger communities. They teach practical life skills to at-risk kids\, adults and seniors\, keeping them out of jail\, and improving their lives and community. The Garden also provides fresh fruits and vegetables to for a homeless pantry. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:With all the devastating events that have taken place recently (plane crashes\, fires\, school shootings\, etc.)\, we wanted to open a space where congregants could release their feelings in a safe and prayerful space. \nRev. Stacy Macris Ros will facilitate this “Heart Share” circle\, and Revs. Jimmie Scott and Sandy Hopper will also be present to pray and hold sacred space. During the circle\, people can speak uninterrupted from their heart. The circle will open and close with prayer and will have clear guidelines for participating (examples: no advice given or interruptions or follow-up outside of the circle\, etc). \nPlease join us for this sacred\, cleansing time of release!

Stacy invites you to join her for an outreach day making a difference in our community! \nSt. Mary’s Food Bank\nEmergency Food Box Packing\nFriday\, Feb. 7 • 12:45-3 p.m.\n2831 North 31st Avenue\, Phoenix\, 85009\nYou MUST RSVP for this activity by filling out the form below no later than Monday\, Feb. 3 \nJoin Rev. Stacy Macris Ros to pack emergency food boxes that will be distributed throughout Arizona to families needing assistance! \nOrientation begins promptly at 12:45pm\, and the session will run until 3pm. Afterward\, for those who are interested\, we’ll try to gather at a nearby coffeehouse to wind down and share fellowship! \nAge requirement is 12 years with an adult and 16+ without an adult. Dress Code: Sneakers or boots only. No sandals\, flip flops\, crocs\, flats\, or any shoe with an exposed foot. All shirts must have a short or long sleeve (no tank tops). You are encouraged to leave belongings at home\, but lockers will be available if needed. There is plenty of water for our volunteers. No beverages other than water are allowed in the working areas.
