Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communicsation

This class meets on six consecutive Sundays: Sept. 20-Oct. 25 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
The $85 class fee covers all six sessions
We spend our lives communicating, yet truly feeling seen, heard and understood can sometimes be challenging. As author Oren Jay Sofer writes in Say What You Mean, “Communication practice is not about what we say, it’s about where we are coming from and how we say it.”
In this six-week class, we’ll explore how to communicate with greater presence, curiosity and care—learning to pause, focus on what truly matters, and show up more fully for ourselves and others.
Through guided practices, demonstrations and exercises with a practice partner, we’ll develop skills for creating conversations that foster greater understanding, safety, acceptance and belonging.
