DESCRIPTION:Do you want to release all that doesn’t serve you\, resurrect the joy in your life\, and also\nget to know some other congregants a little better?\n\n\n\n\nLent is the perfect time to release negative thoughts and habits that don’t serve our highest and best so that we can experience the glorious transformation of Easter. \nOur Lenten Circle Groups are the perfect way to walk through this process while — at the same time — connecting with other congregants at a deep level. The Circles — small groups of six to 10 people — will meet once a week during Lent\, which runs this year from the week of March 9 through April 20 (Easter Sunday). \nThe groups will be using Unity Village’s 2025 Lenten booklet\, “In the Garden.” CLICK HERE to download a PDF of this booklet. Sadly\, national statistics show that only 15-30% of cardiac arrest victims receive bystander CPR\, primarily because people aren’t trained to provide it. \nThat’s why we’re bringing in Lori Stauffer from the Scottsdale Fire Department to teach us this life-saving skill! CPR is EASY to learn\, and mouth-to-mouth is no longer required; you’ll learn the hands-only technique. Turn north / right onto Castle Hot Springs Road. Drive to the end of the paved road and turn right onto Castle Creek Drive for the pay station at the NORTH ENTRANCE (DO NOT GO TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE). There is a fee of $7 per vehicle or a Maricopa Pass. Turn right on Cottonwood Lane and follow (about ¼ mile) to the end for the parking lot and bathrooms on the right. If interested in carpooling\, please contact me. A good carpooling spot is the McDonald’s at Carefree Highway and I-17. If interested\, contact me. \nHike Description: After a narrow\, rocky\, and continuous gentle upward climb to the top of Yavapai point\, there are beautiful 360-degree views from the top. There is a bit of highway noise along the trail\, but the landscapes are gorgeous\, making you almost forget how close to civilization you are. The terrain is quite rocky in some sections\, and it is advised to wear sturdy shoes. This trail is multi-use and used by hikers\, trail runners\, and mountain bikers. \nDogs: Dogs on a leash are welcome

DESCRIPTION:As most of you are aware\, we are embarking on an exciting journey to build a new Fellowship and Welcome Center: a warm\, inviting space where we can enjoy connection and community indoors.\nRev. Richard Maraj will be hosting two Informational Meetings where congregants can come to learn more about our plans for this exciting project! The dates of those meetings are: \n\nSunday\, March 30\, 12:30-2pm\nSunday\, April 27\, 12:30-2pm\n\nBoth meetings will be held in the Fillmore Meeting Room (6/7) on the second floor of the Administration Building. Light hors d’ouerves will be served. \nThe purpose of the meeting is to inform\, share\, discuss\, and provide ideas and feedback about the Fellowship and Welcome Center. To help bring that vision to life\, we will also share our initial conceptual photos of the new building. \nThis new space will help increase opportunities for congregants to chat\, visit\, connect\, create new friends and enjoy a greater feeling of community before and after services. We will also be able to use the space during the week for classes\, meetings and other activities. \nWe want all of our congregants to be fully informed about our plans for the new building and building fund campaign. The more we know\, the more excited we all will be … and the more motivated to engage in the process\, as well. This will be a huge blessing for our ministry\, but will take the faith\, intention\, desire\, effort and enthusiasm of all of us to make happen! \nPlease join us at one or both of these meetings!

The dates of those meetings are: \nThe meeting will be held in the Fillmore Meeting Room (6/7) on the second floor of the Administration Building. A light lunch will be served. \nThe purpose of the meeting is to inform\, share\, discuss\, and provide ideas and feedback about the Fellowship and Welcome Center. To help bring that vision to life\, we will also share our initial conceptual photos of the new building. \nThis new space will help increase opportunities for congregants to chat\, visit\, connect\, create new friends and enjoy a greater feeling of community before and after services. We will also be able to use the space during the week for classes\, meetings and other activities. \nWe want all of our congregants to be fully informed about our plans for the new building and building fund campaign. The more we know\, the more excited we all will be … and the more motivated to engage in the process\, as well. DESCRIPTION:May 4 is our “Commitment Sunday” for our building fund campaign. That is when each of us will pledge our personal three-year commitment to financially support building a new Fellowship and Welcoming Center for our ministry. \nAs you think about your own financial commitment to this campaign\, we invite you into a process of prayer and discernment\, asking how Spirit is calling you to be a channel for helping us fulfill this fellowship vision. \nStep 1: REFLECTION. In a spirit of gratitude\, reflect on what this ministry means to you. Read through the brochure to understand all the reasons we are doing this campaign\, and how this fellowship center might positively impact you\, your loved ones and generations to come. To access the information on our website\, scan the QR code at the right. \nStep 2: VISUALIZATION. During this process — and until that building is up and finished — I ask that everyone spend time visualizing the fulfillment of this project\, and giving thanks for the fact that we are coming together as a community to put our principles of manifestation into practice. \nStep 3: PRAYERFUL DISCERNMENT. Take this decision into your prayer time to discern what commitment Spirit is guiding you to make. We are asking everyone to contribute to this campaign\, and to consider pledging 3% of their income over the next three years. But how much you give is a personal decision that depends on your own life situation and guidance. It may be higher than that; it may be a bit lower. Every gift\, regardless of size\, will be an important contribution to the campaign. \nStep 4: COMMITMENT. As You Wish will provide expert assistance and anything else you need to let your inner artist out – including paints\, palettes\, brushes\, lettering tools\, tape\, pencils\, tracing materials\, vinyl stickers\, stamps\, sponges\, books of inspiration\, and anything else you need to let your inner artist out! \nThe $45 ticket covers the studio painting fee; a piece of pottery you select to paint (up to $30); and tip for the studio teachers. \nIf you’d like to join Rev. Stacy for dinner before the event\, plan to join her at 5pm at Zupa’s\, a restaurant that offers a variety of soups\, salads and sandwiches (located very near the As You Wish center in the Desert Ridge marketplace).
