Featuring a stirring score by The Phoenix Theatre Company’s late Music Director\, Alan Ruch\, and direction by Matthew Wiener\, who helmed A Christmas Carol at Actors Theatre for 19 years\, this production continues a beloved holiday tradition. From Hwy 51\, take the Northern Avenue exit and turn east. The road will take you right into the parking lot for Dreamy Draw. \nDescription:  This beautiful route combines two loops centered at the parking area on the east and west sides of Highway 51. There is a bit of highway noise along the trail\, but the landscapes are gorgeous\, making you almost forget how close to civilization you are. The terrain is quite rocky in some sections\, and it is advised to wear sturdy shoes. This trail is multi-use and used by hikers\, trail runners\, and mountain bikers. \nDogs:  Dogs on a leash are welcome \n

Piestewa Peak Rd. Follow this road past the park entrance to the furthest parking area. \nMeeting Location: The ramadas located just off the parking area. \nDescription: This is a wonderful\, moderately challenging loop hike (yes\, with a bit of huffing and puffing). The landscape is gorgeous\, making you almost forget how close to civilization you are. The terrain is rocky in some sections\, and it is advised to wear sturdy shoes. This trail is multi-use and used by hikers\, trail runners\, and mountain bikers. \nDogs:  Dogs on a leash are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Learn to Save a Life with CPR\, the Heimlich\, and an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)\nRSVP Deadline: Sunday\, February 22\nWhen someone suffers from cardiac arrest\, quick action by bystanders with CPR knowledge can increase the survival rate of the victim by 80%. Sadly\, national statistics show that only 15-30% of cardiac arrest victims receive bystander CPR\, primarily because people aren’t trained to provide it. \nThat’s why we’re bringing in the Scottsdale Fire Department to teach us this life-saving skill! CPR is EASY to learn\, and mouth-to-mouth is no longer required; you’ll learn the hands-only technique. In addition\, you’ll learn how to do the Heimlich for choking victims; how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED); and what to do in case of bleeding emergencies. This is not an official certification class\, but participants will receive a certificate of attendance. \nWill you be ready when a family member\, friend\, elderly parent or co-worker needs help?
