Hiking Group: Dreamy Draw Loop Trail

This is a figure-8 trail with each of two loops beginning at the parking lot.

For those who want a shorter hike, you are free to end your hike when we return to the parking lot as we complete the first loop, which is about 2 miles long.

Difficulty: Mostly moderate.

Address/Directions:  2421 E Northern Ave. (Just east of Piestawa Freeway). From Hwy 51, take the Northern Avenue exit and turn east. The road will take you right into the parking lot for Dreamy Draw.

Description:  This beautiful route combines two loops centered at the parking area on the east and west sides of Highway 51. There is a bit of highway noise along the trail, but the landscapes are gorgeous, making you almost forget how close to civilization you are. The terrain is quite rocky in some sections, and it is advised to wear sturdy shoes. This trail is multi-use and used by hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers.
