DESCRIPTION:Our Gift Tree will be in the Courtyard on the following days:\nThree Sundays – Nov. 9\, 16 & 23\nTwo Wednesdays – Nov. 12 & 19\nThis holiday season\, we’re partnering with OCJ Kids to bring joy to teens who are currently living in foster care group homes. We are sponsoring 104 teens (ages 12-17) who have each shared one modest gift they’d like to have for Christmas — and you can make their wishes come true! \nVisit our Christmas Gift Tree in the Courtyard\, choose a gift (or two)\, and shop for the gift listed. (OCJ recommends spending between $25–$35 per gift.) Return your unwrapped gift to the Outreach Table no later than Sunday\, Nov. 30. \nEvery gift you provide will light up a young person’s holiday — and remind them that they are seen\, valued and loved.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Sept. 27\, Noon-2pm\nWe wanted to celebrate the recent ordination of Rev. Amanda Sue Briggs — one of our congregants — with one of her favorite outreach activities: packing food boxes for the charity organization\, Feed My Starving Children. To help facilitate this event\, Unity of Phoenix is directing a portion of its monthly tithe ($2\,000) to cover 40 volunteer spots. \nBecause we have only 40 spots available\, you MUST RSVP to hold a spot. \nWe’ll be hand-packing rice\, soy\, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed\, boxed\, placed on pallets and shipped to incredible partners who distribute the food to children who need it around the world. \nThrough volunteering at FMSC\, you’ll get the chance to impact hundreds of kids in just two hours\, and experience what it’s like to make a tangible difference in the world. And you’ll have the chance to celebrate Rev. Amanda Sue in an extraordinary way.

Stacy invites you to join her for an outreach day making a difference in our community! \nSt. Mary’s Food Bank\nEmergency Food Box Packing\nFriday\, Feb. 7 • 12:45-3 p.m.\n2831 North 31st Avenue\, Phoenix\, 85009\nYou MUST RSVP for this activity by filling out the form below no later than Monday\, Feb. 3 \nJoin Rev. Stacy Macris Ros to pack emergency food boxes that will be distributed throughout Arizona to families needing assistance! \nOrientation begins promptly at 12:45pm\, and the session will run until 3pm. Afterward\, for those who are interested\, we’ll try to gather at a nearby coffeehouse to wind down and share fellowship! \nAge requirement is 12 years with an adult and 16+ without an adult. Dress Code: Sneakers or boots only. No sandals\, flip flops\, crocs\, flats\, or any shoe with an exposed foot. All shirts must have a short or long sleeve (no tank tops). You are encouraged to leave belongings at home\, but lockers will be available if needed. There is plenty of water for our volunteers. No beverages other than water are allowed in the working areas.
