SUMMARY:Out & About with Rev. Richard Maraj: Vintage Transportation Collection/Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Join Rev. Richard Maraj as we visit Unity congregants Alan and Mary Travis’ personal collection of more than 20 vintage vehicles including: bicycles\, motorcycles\, and automobiles dating from 1882 to 1915. (Fun fact: they are all still drivable!) There are also automobilia\, historic racing trophies and a phonograph that plays a “talking” wax cylinder. You can also see the shop where the vehicles are restored! \nDoors open at 6:30 p.m. (not before!); presentation about the history and evolution of transportation\, based on the collection\, begins promptly at 7 p.m. A Q&A session will follow the presentation at 8:15 p.m. Doors close at 9 p.m. \nCapacity is limited to 45 people\, so reservations are mandatory.
