Go about 0.9 miles to E. Pinnacle Peak Pkwy and turn left.  Go about 0.4 miles into the parking lot. \nHike Description: This route offers spectacular views of the surrounding Scottsdale area. A little past the half-mile marker\, the Grandview rest stop presents a panorama of the valley and McDowell Mountain. From Owls Rest\, one mile up the trail\, you can make out Camelback Mountain in the distance. \nDogs: No Dogs

Be on the lookout for more information at the end of summer! \nInstead of a Night Out\, in April Rev. Stacy invites you to join her for an outreach day making a difference in our community at the Tiger Mountain Foundation’s “Spaces of Opportunity” Garden! \nJoin Rev. Stacy to cultivate a better community for all by planting fruits and vegetables with other community-minded souls! We’ll get our hands dirty by planting\, weeding and harvesting produce\, and also learn about gardening techniques\, sustainable living and organic farming. \nThe TigerMountain Foundation uses community gardens as a tool to improve lives and build stronger communities. They teach practical life skills to at-risk kids\, adults and seniors\, keeping them out of jail\, and improving their lives and community. The Garden also provides fresh fruits and vegetables to for a homeless pantry. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:As most of you are aware\, we are embarking on an exciting journey to build a new Fellowship and Welcome Center: a warm\, inviting space where we can enjoy connection and community indoors.\nRev. Richard Maraj will be hosting a Lunch Q&A where congregants can come to learn more about our plans for this exciting project! The dates of those meetings are: \nThe meeting will be held in the Fillmore Meeting Room (6/7) on the second floor of the Administration Building. A light lunch will be served. \nThe purpose of the meeting is to inform\, share\, discuss\, and provide ideas and feedback about the Fellowship and Welcome Center. To help bring that vision to life\, we will also share our initial conceptual photos of the new building. \nThis new space will help increase opportunities for congregants to chat\, visit\, connect\, create new friends and enjoy a greater feeling of community before and after services. We will also be able to use the space during the week for classes\, meetings and other activities. \nWe want all of our congregants to be fully informed about our plans for the new building and building fund campaign. The more we know\, the more excited we all will be … and the more motivated to engage in the process\, as well. This will be a huge blessing for our ministry\, but will take the faith\, intention\, desire\, effort and enthusiasm of all of us to make happen! \nPlease join us at one or both of these meetings!
