Southwest corner of 7 th Avenue and Carefree Hwy. Large parking lot. Park near the restrooms. No fee. \nHike Description: This loop trail is rocky with some hard-packed dirt. There are ups and downs\, but the hills are not steep. A beautiful place for spring blooms! \nDogs: Not recommended

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 15th – Lake Pleasant \nDate/Time: Saturday\, March 15\, 2025 8:00 a.m. (arrive 15 minutes early to check in) \nHike Leader: Adrian Reznik\, please RSVP to arezzy123@gmail.com \nArea: Lake Pleasant Regional Park \nTrail Name: Yavapai Point and Pipeline Canyon Trails \nMap: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/arizona/yavapai-point-and-pipeline-canyon-trail \nDistance: 5.2 miles \nElevation Change: 688’ \nDifficulty: Mostly easy to moderate. \nAddress/Directions: From the intersection of I-17 and AZ-74 / Carefree Highway turn west / left onto Carefree Highway and drive for about 11 miles to Castle Hot Springs Road. Turn north / right onto Castle Hot Springs Road. Drive to the end of the paved road and turn right onto Castle Creek Drive for the pay station at the NORTH ENTRANCE (DO NOT GO TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE). There is a fee of $7 per vehicle or a Maricopa Pass. Turn right on Cottonwood Lane and follow (about ¼ mile) to the end for the parking lot and bathrooms on the right. If interested in carpooling\, please contact me. A good carpooling spot is the McDonald’s at Carefree Highway and I-17. If interested\, contact me. \nHike Description: After a narrow\, rocky\, and continuous gentle upward climb to the top of Yavapai point\, there are beautiful 360-degree views from the top. Pipeline trail is an easy hike to the lake and a gentle ascending hike back to the trailhead. Hiking poles are recommended\, but not necessary. \nDogs: No dogs

DESCRIPTION:This trail is in a figure 8 with two loops.  For those who want a shorter hike\, you can complete the first loop\, which is about 2 miles and you will be near the parking lot. \n  \nDate/Time: Saturday\, March 22\, 2025 8:30 a.m. (arrive 15 minutes early to check in) \nHike Leader: Henry Klimkowski\, please RSVP to henryk_jr@hotmail.com \nArea: Dreamy Draw \nTrail Name: Dreamy Draw Loop Trail \nMap: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/arizona/dreamy-draw-loop-trail \nDistance: 3.9 miles \nElevation Change: 623’ \nDifficulty: Mostly moderate. \nAddress/Directions: From Hwy 51\, take the Northern Avenue exit and turn east.  The road will take you right into the parking lot for Dreamy Draw. \nHike Description: This beautiful route combines two loops on the east and west sides of Highway 51. There is a bit of highway noise along the trail\, but the landscapes are gorgeous\, making you almost forget how close to civilization you are. The terrain is quite rocky in some sections\, and it is advised to wear sturdy shoes. This trail is multi-use and used by hikers\, trail runners\, and mountain bikers. \nDogs: Dogs on a leash are welcome
