Address: Take 36th street south from Shea; Turn right on Mountain View Road; Turn left on 35th Place; Turn right on Calaveros Drive; Turn left on 34th Way. This street will turn to the left and end up in a parking lot where the trailhead begins.

- Good hiking shoes, non-slip tread
- Hat to block the Sun
- Water bottles – For winter hikes, plan on at least 20 ounces for every hour of hiking
