‘Out & About’ – Tour of the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM)

(The museum is open until 5 p.m. if you wish to stay and explore after the tour)

Join Rev. Richard Maraj as we take a guided tour through the MIM, which features a collection of more than 7,500 instruments from over 200 countries. The galleries reflect the rich diversity and history of many world cultures, showing us what we have in common—that music is the language of the soul!

MIM’s immersive exhibits will allow us to see the instruments, hear their sounds, and observe them being played in their original contexts. Our tour will end in the Experience Gallery, where you can make some music of your own on instruments from around the world. After the tour, take some time to explore on your own!
