Beginning Sign Language with Greta McLeod

This class meets on four consecutive Tuesdays: Sept. 8-29 from 7-8:30 p.m.

You’ve seen Greta beautifully interpret our Sunday worship services. Now come learn the language she so lovingly shares each week!

American Sign Language (ASL) is more than a way to communicate—it can also be a mindful, expressive and deeply meaningful experience. Learning ASL is like opening the door to a whole new language and a richer way of connecting with others.

In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll learn the alphabet through fingerspelling along with practical signs you can begin using right away to communicate with people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Don’t worry—Greta promises no tests! Just a relaxed, encouraging environment where you’ll learn, laugh and practice together. (Because practice really is the key to becoming more confident!) Space is limited to only 25 people, so get your tickets early!
