Our classes include working together and learning as one large group, in small groups, in pairs, and as an individual. We use many different ways to learn, such as discussion, games, presentations, interactive activities, meditations, etc. Classes are fun and contain a variety of activities. Classes are student centered with teens sharing and teaching others.

During the year we will cover how we can discover our inner truths, and how to apply these inner truths in our lives every day using these topics:

Wednesday Teen Night

Find Friendship, Support, Connection and Inspiration

Y.O.U.  & Uniteen Nites
Every Wednesday of every month.
Y.O.U. & Uniteens gather by separately by group to:

  • Connect and check in with one another about where you are in life
  • Work on fundraisers
  • Prepare for retreats and rallys
  • Prepare for service projects
  • Participate in activities to promote spiritual growth & development

Wednesday Fun Night
1st Wednesday of every month - Uniteens
2nd Wednesday of every month - Y.O.U.

Facilitated by one of our amazing Sponsors and the Teen Ministry Coordinator. Includes games, social time with friends, guitar music, songs, etc.

Have fun, play games and check in with teens after our retreats and other events.

Creation and Planning Night

Get involved! Come and add your own special creativity to our teen spiritual community. Possible activities include preparation for fundraisers and service projects; creating and/or sending out birthday cards; making phone calls to other teens about upcoming events; creating bulletin boards and teen picture displays; and providing support for the teen spiritual community.


Uniteen Rites of Passage Program

For 8th graders

Rites of Passage Program is a a unique program that celebrates the journey
from adolescence to adulthood and supports teens’ commitment to personal and spiritual self-discovery and community. The program is open to eligible 8th graders, and meets from September through May on every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (except for the first Wednesday of the month, which is Uniteen Fun Night). The program also includes some Saturday workshops. During this powerful program, teens have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Unity’s basic truth principles
  • Become comfortable with prayer, meditation and spiritual
    readings, and the application of each to their life
  • Participate in various Unity ceremonies, such as the holiday
    Candelighting, Burning Bowl and Hand-Washing services, and
    Spiritual Communion and Baptism
  • Meet with our ministerial team
  • Lead and facilitate spiritual lessons for peers
  • Create personal mission statements and credos
  • Participate in a variety of in-house and external service projects
  • Participate in “Heart Talk” and life enhancement workshops
  • Experiment with creative expression
  • Develop relationships with other teens and sponsors at a level
    that invites spiritual growth and community
