Do You Know Your Child's Learning Style? |
||
Rev. Mark Fisk, Facilitator During adolescence, teens begin to question the black-and-white rules and assumptions they learned as kids, and try to resolve the tensions, curiosities and mixed messages they are encountering. Unhealthy behaviors, limiting self-talk and suppressed feelings can become detours to seeking this Truth. Explore a spiritual coaching model that encourages teens and parents to embrace this journey. |
Janine Nicol, Facilitator Discover how to allow new lights to shine while gently integrating them into this world for their true purpose. You'll learn easy approaches to embrace the child for who he or she really is, while providing healthy, loving boundaries that nurture their development. |

You’ll learn how to work with different learning styles to best meet the needs of your child ... especially if his/her learning is different from your own. |

Healthy Family Conflict Resolution: How to Fight Fair |

Joan Bacchus, Facilitator Story telling is one way of addressing major events in a child’s life, like explaining the death of a pet or loved one. This is the way we, as adults, can help create a healthy life-long pattern for handling major losses in life and establish healthy coping skills. The goal of this class is to stimulate your own personal and creative ways to deal with losses and grief that arise in your family. |

Pam Petersen, Facilitator How much time do you spend nurturing the most important relationships in your life? Do you show gratitude and appreciation for those who love and support you? Does your “to do list” include something special just for you? We’ll explore the relationships in our lives, and share ideas for building stronger, healthier connections in all of them. |
L isa Black, Facilitator Based on the #1 New York Times best seller, Money Doesn’t Grow On Trees: A Parent’s Guide To Raising Financially Responsible Children, this workshop will help educate you on ways to teach children about the value and responsible use of money. You’ll receive a complimentary workbook during the workshop to help apply the techniques you learn. |
Kathy Kellogg, Facilitator How do children develop their image of God? When are they old enough to understand the differing concepts of each faith? How can you, as a parent, support them in their spiritual unfolding? During our time together in this session, we will explore the varying stages of spiritual development that children go through, as well as how to best support spiritual unfolding throughout each stage. |

As a spiritual practice, daily time spent praying together strengthens and builds strong families. What does this time together look like? Is there a right way to do it? Where do you find the time? These questions and more will be explored during this workshop, in addition to concrete ideas to get you started. |
