Rev. Kathryn Kellogg

Rev. Kathryn Kellogg serves as the
Children’s and Family Ministry
Coordinator at the Association of
Unity Churches International home
office. For 25 years, Rev. Kathryn has
served Unity families as a youth and
family ministry director, a regional
education consultant for the Southwest
Unity region, and an ordained Unity
minister specializing in youth and family
ministry. With a degree in music
education from Wichita State University, she taught for
seven years in the public schools before following her passion
for children’s spiritual education.
Actively involved in children’s and teen ministry since
high school, Rev. Kathryn has worked to create ministry for
young people that is age-appropriate and which recognizes
them as whole spiritual beings. Her passion is to create safe,
loving environments where children and teens can explore
their relationship with God and where each individual
journey to self awareness/God-awareness is honored. Her
vision is that each child knows that they are loved and
supported by a community of faith that holds them precious
and irreplaceable, and to be aware that they have the power
to co-create with God an amazing life.
Currently, Rev. Kathryn oversees credentialing programs
in Unity youth and family ministry including the Certified
Spiritual Educators Program and the Licensed Unity
Teachers Specializing in Youth and Family Ministry.
Consulting with churches, she helps with questions about
sacred safety, curriculum choices, resources, staffing, training
and more. As editor of Education Links, Rev. Kathryn is
always looking for ways to educate, expand and deepen
Unity’s commitment to excellence in children’s and family
ministry.
Joan Bacchus
Facilitator: “Dealing with
Loss and Grief”

Joan
Bacchus, a
registered
nurse, began
her path as a
healer within
the traditional
medicine
framework.
She has since
received multiple
certificates in Advanced
Therapeutic Touch and Healing
Touch along with becoming an
ordained New Thought Minister.
Her passion for providing support
and comfort moved her to become
a licensed Unity Teacher specializing
in both Pastoral Care and Adult
Education. She is currently serving
in the Pastoral Care Department at
Unity of Phoenix as a Bereavement
Specialist and Spiritual Counselor.
Lisa Black
Facilitator: “Raising
Financially Responsible
Children”

Lisa Black is a partner with
New York Life in the Arizona
General Office, located in
Scottsdale. She has earned numerous
awards during her career with
the company including Rookie of
the Year, Agent of the Year, and Top
Case Producer.
In addition to
her career, Lisa
is extensively
involved in the
community
through her
work with AZ
Eagles, PSI
World, AIPAC,
and many political organizations.
She is happily married to her husband
David and her greatest source
of joy comes from their three children,
Garrett, Corey and Caibra.
Rev. Mark Fisk

Rev. Mark
Fisk is a
Youth
pastor and
Spiritual Coach
who has served
Unity churches
for over 15
years. Based in
Phoenix with
his loving wife,
Rhonda, Rev. Mark is a former Wall
Street Investment banker. He left
his career to backpack around the
world, and shortly afterward began
pursuing his passion of
spiritual education. Rev. Mark is
currently the Association of Unity
Churches’ Southwest Region Teen
Minister. In this role he not only
helps churches design Family
Ministry programs but also coordi-nates teen regional etreats, workshops, and
leadership programs. He also serves as an
Adjunct Minister at Unity of Phoenix.
Lisa McKenzie
Facilitator: “Do You Know Your
Child’s Learning Style?”

Lisa McKenzie has
a BS in nursing
and worked for
many years as an RN
with her expertise in
high risk OB/GYN.
During this time her
passion for children
extended into teaching
when she placed her
own children in
Montessori school. Returning to school, she
earned her master’s in education and has
taught children from preschool to high
school. Her personal journey has lead her
to complete her personal development studies
with the Association of Unity Churches
and serve as a Prayer Chaplain for many
years. She is currently Teen Ministry
Coordinator at Unity of Phoenix.
Janine Nicol
Facilitator: “Feeding the Young
Light’s Soul”

Janine Nicol, RN,
CBC has been in the
health care field for
over 21 years. Her
expertise includes a
variety of patient care
areas, but her passion is
mothers and their
babies. She worked in
Post Partum units and
received her certification
as a Breastfeeding Counselor. Taking
on a more holistic role in the past few years,
Janine is now supporting parents with two
exciting new ventures, ‘Insights’ and ‘Baby
Breast Start’. She is a life coach, counselor,
speaker and educator whose mission is creating
bridges between adults and children.
Pam Petersen
Facilitator: “Building Healthy
Relationships”

Pam Petersen is a
prominent attorney,
loving mother,
devoted wife and
daughter, community
servant and respected
friend. Pam has taken
tools from her strong
family upbringing, personal
values, professional
education and Prayer
Chaplain training, and created personal
practices that enable her to run a successful
business and maintain healthy relationships,
not only with others, but with herself and
God. Pam currently serves Unity of
Phoenix as president of the Board of
Trustees, producer/director for the summer
youth theatre, and as a teen sponsor. Pam
lives with the loves of her life, husband
David and their children Brandon, Nikki,
and Garrett.
Clare Rhoads
Facilitator: “Techniques to
Manage Your Stress and Avoid
Angry Outbursts”

Clare Rhoads, M.C.
received her
Master of Counseling
degree from
Arizona State University.
She has a Graduate
Diploma of
Business Administration
from a top European
business school
and is taking doctoral
level psychology classes at ASU. She has
been a Rotary Good Will Ambassador to
India and England, and an American Field
Service Good Will Ambassador to Japan.
Her primary areas of expertise are in anger management, conflict resolution, divorce/
step-family issues, self-esteem and resiliency.
Working with teens and their families
is her passion. Her workshops meet the
specific requirements of prevention programs
for the Juvenile Justice System and
school system.
Noelle Stanley
Facilitator: “Practical Nutrition”

Noelle Stanley is
a highly motivated
dynamic
public speaker and
nutrition consultant.
She has her degree in
Psychology and studied
nutrition at the
Southwest Institute for
Healing Arts where she
received certification as
a Holistic Nutrition Educator. Currently
Noelle owns and operates ‘My Body
Balance’ consulting with fitness studios,
corporate clients and business professionals.
Personally she pursues her passion for
children’s nutrition by teaching cooking
classes, writing articles and volunteering
with the local wellness council. Noelle is a
native to Arizona and lives in Carefree with
her husband and two girls.

Tiffany Weis is a
speaker, yoga
teacher, meditation
leader, empowerment
life coach, writer
and movie extra who
loves spiritual studies
and travel. She was a
stockbroker for 10 years
before forming
Bohemian Bliss Life
Coaching. She presents regularly for
women's groups, retreats and conferences.
She specializes in consciousness, passion
and authentic empowerment topics.
